The Republican scientific and practical center «Daryn» of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan is Republican state-owned enterprise providing administration in the field of education on identifying and supporting gifted children and talented youth in Kazakhstan.

The Republican scientific and practical center "Daryn" of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan created in accordance with the Regulation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 3002 of May 24, 1996  "About state support and development of schools for gifted children» and  Government Resolution Of the Republic Of Kazakhstan No. 256 of March 24, 1998 "About additional measures on improvement of management in organizations of Ministry of education, culture and health of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

Our mission

Identification, development and professional support of gifted children and talented youth in Kazakhstan.

Main goal

Creation of a unified modern system of identifying, developing and realizing the potential and creative abilities of gifted children in Kazakhstan.

Issues:

1)Creating a system of identifying and supporting gifted children and talented youth in various fields of activity;

2) Creation of information and educational environment, ensuring the realization of the Republican model of work with gifted children and talented youth;

3) Support and assistance of gifted children, innovative teachers and educational organizations who work with young talents;

4) Creation and testing of new educational programs, effective methods and technologies for working with gifted children and talented youth.

5) Creation of regional centers for working with gifted children and talented youth

6) Ensuring social and legal protection of gifted children and youth.

The Republican scientific and practical center "Daryn" is a system link in working with gifted children in Kazakhstan.

2006 - 7th Asian physics olympiad

2010 - 51st International mathematical olympiad

2012 - 46th international Mendeleev olympiad in chemistry

2014 - 45th international physics olympiad

2015 - International olympiad in informatics

2017 - 51st International Mendeleev chemistry olympiad

The Republican scientific and practical center "Daryn" organizes the Olympic Reserve Republican school.

From 1998 to 2020 students from Kazakhstan won 2,241 gold medals, 3 266 silver medals, 4 763 bronze medals at the world's most prestigious Olympiads. They have been proving their competitiveness in the global intelligence market over the past years.

For example, if in 1998 in the rating of the international Olympiads (IMO, IPHO, ICHO, IBO, IOI) Kazakhstan was on 50-th place, so in 2017 it was on 10-th position.
